Happy Birthday, Asher!
For the few people who read my blog, but don't read my, my sister's, after nine months and more pregnanacy-related blog posts than this non-father could believe possible (just kidding, Cath!), she has finally given birth to a healthy, blond-haired, baby boy named Asher. He was born yesterday afternoon. Welcome to the world, little guy! I'm sure many awe-inspiring photos will be forthcoming. I can't wait to see 'em!

Hi Dave!! I miss you so much! Call soon. You have to meet Asher, Dave, he's your nephew! Horray for my son!
And, HEY! I don't have as many baby posts as you do political posts and, having now experienced childbirth, labor, delivery, and newborn-mommy-hood, I now know this to be likely the most difficult and amazing thing a human being can do -- WAY more amazing and conversation-worthy than politics. :)
